Keeping Diveboarding Safe.
As the inventor of the Diveboard, I have personally introduced hundreds of people of all ages to Diveboarding, and have not had a single safety incident. And as a responsible person directing Diveboarding in remote areas like Baja California -- far from emergency services and medical help -- safety has always been an important concern of mine.
Here are some of the things we do to maintain Diveboard’s unblemished safety record.

This is the safety flag which we are working to establish as the universal notification that Diveboarding activity is happening.

This is the waterproof Safety Card © Tunks Watersports 2001, which we include with every Diveboard purchase. Please feel to download it and see what information the Diveboard team should have out on the water.

This is the eight page owner’s manual which we include with every Diveboard purchased. We have included a lot of valuable information about Diveboarding that will also be of interest to all divers who engage in towing activities, or other search and survey techniques.

This is the Warning Label that is permanently fused on the wing of each Diveboard. We want all Diveboarders to practice this fun new sport safely.

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Diveboarding with compressed breathing gas (Scuba, Hooka, etc.) in poor visibility conditions is specifically prohibited because of embolism danger. Diveboards facilitate rapid ascents, which can be difficult for a diver to notice if he cannot see where he is. However, air embolism is not a danger for the surface breathing Diveboarder.
